Choosing someone to do your wedding photography is an important decision, you probably have a few wedding and photography questions in mind. We developed our simple FAQ’s list to guide you through this sometimes daunting process, ensuring that you make a decision that you will both be happy with.
It’s always good to ask if digital enhancements are included as part of the wedding photography package or will the photographs be sent to the lab straight off camera?
We include up to 30 hours of digital enhancements, which includes removal of blemishes and touch-ups as well as changing images to black and white, sepia, colour-toned, plus black and white background with a colour foreground.
For our Premiere and Exclusive Album packages, we have two photographers to cover your day, that way we’re able to capture different perspectives and angles of your wedding.
We will take up to 2,000 photographs of your day, depending on bridal party size and number of locations. This ensures that we don’t miss any candid or spontaneous moment. I then personally go through every single image and select the best images for you to choose from, presenting you with 500-700 enhanced images.
Yes, all our prices include GST. If you are comparing other photographers, make sure you check that GST is inclusive in their prices.
At Helen McConnell Photography we have three main photographers each with an assistant photographer. Unlike many of our contemporaries, we will never subcontract your wedding to another photographer. We recommend that you always ask to meet the person who will be photographing your wedding well before the actual day. It is important that you ask to view lots of examples of their work, including completed wedding albums, to ensure the consistency and quality of their work. Be aware of some so called “photographic companies” with a fantastic website and offer. They may only undertake photography as a part-time job on their weekends. You should never compromise on the quality of your cherished moments.
